Depends on the position you interviewed for but, give it about a week...possibly two.
Many professional positions require interviewing a large number of prospects and this could take some time...then once the interviewing is done, the decision needs to be made as to who has been chosen for the position.
You don't need to "bug" them but, after waiting the week or so you could send them a short follow-up letter letting them know that you're still very interested in the position you were interviewed for, you hope the interview went well and if you have been selected, you are available to begin your new job as soon as you are notified.
Just make sure, if they don't get you on the phone right away, they have a way of leaving a message for you when that time comes.
Good luck!

If you interviewd on Friday then chances are that your potential employer hardly had time to think about it on Friday (the weekend is coming!...)
Mondays are just lame days and people are just starting to get back in the swing of things.
Tuesday...I would think Tuesday would be the appropriate day to hear some feedback. Hopefully they will call. If not then....
Wednesday I would call them and say you are following up. It makes you appear genuinely interested without appearing needy. Hopefully they will have something for you. If not....
I would not call again until the following week on Monday. that would give them a full week to think about your candidacy. It's now a professional courtesy to let you know what is up. In the least they can say that they need more time or something but you should receive some feedback by now.

i'd say give 'em a week.
2 weeks the most.
it also depends on how big the company is.
i had interviewed for a gallery and heard back within the week, but i'm very sure if it were a larger more popular gallery it'd be longer because they're probably also interviewing others.
goodluck! what was the interview for?
i hope you got it.

If you don't hear from them in about a week, call them back and then press-on if they can't give you a definite answer.
A REAL professional will have the courtesy to at least call you back with a definite answer, without you having to call them first.

Give it one week. If you don't hear back it's okay to call once to follow up.
