alright, l'm a sophomore in Highschool I'm 16 years old and My friends cousins go to the local college and can get my friend (who already has been) and me in to it. I've never really been to a high school party with alcohol much less a college one. I want to go, but I would have to lie to my mom if I did.. and thats why I'm hestitating I know what I should do but then what I want to do! Anyway, what would you do? I would have to say II am 18.. but then again don't all teens at somepoint go to some party and lie to parents Idk why I'm having a hard time with this.. If I don't plan to drink or anything is it wrong. idk if I told my mom the truth I don't think she would let me go. I don't care if i got caught and got grounded or anything BUT i care about lying to her... what am I suppose to do. I want to go I've never ever been.

If l lied l would tell her we are going to see a late move and dnner before that. I jjust dont want to lie to her and then her not trusting me anymore because she does trust me. But when I had asked about a after prom party she said l could go to prom but not an afterparty being a sophomore. so if she wont let me go to that idk if she would let me go to a college one..

well, there is a reason she wont let you go there, drunken fratboys and rape is one of them, and cops show up at many college parties to break them up and you could get arrested. When i was in college i dont remember too many 16 yo showing up, and i dont think i would really like it if they did, it would be like me showing up at your house for a party with some high school kids. A beach party is one thing, that is all ages, but house parties are different. I guess you are gonna have to lie to her if you want to go, but you should remember that she was young once and probably did the same thing, and her since her mom did too she probalby got caught.

its more of a half truth if you at least tell your parents that you will be with your cousin.
just dont drink or dont drink more than three this first time.
watchout for each other. I am very happy that I waited til i had just turned eighteen to get drunk (not counting one funeral)
doing too much drinking takes up too much of your social life to become a habit before you get accepted to college.
if you mom doesnt trust your cousin then maybe you wont be allowed to go...... but at least you wont blatantly lie. sometimes parents know what you are really up to and she might let you go allong to hang out with college kids because she trusts you and your cousin. your cousin can always get you into a party sometime next year if need be

It relies upon on your college... No no longer each physique events. I purely graduated, and that i'm no longer a huge celebration animal. I partied in line with possibility one million night in the process the week. I a minimum of frolicked. i'm going to no longer have drank or something purely frolicked with my fraternity brothers and friends. as a techniques because of fact the ladies element... that still relies upon on your college. In coming freshman females are many times maximum possibly to easily make out with random individuals. As they get extra into college they the two drop out or mature out of that,,, or exchange into 'sluts'. Partying is exciting, yet no longer flunking out and dropping scholarships is extra exciting... for the reason which you somewhat won't be able to celebration in case you at the instant are not a pupil... properly you may, yet then you certainly've exchange into that extraordinary guy... yet like I stated plenty relies upon on what college you will. some colleges celebration all of the time, some colleges (mine) attempt to maintain you from having any exciting, some are not getting mutually in any respect. in case you % to have fun inspect the fraternities, that's a good thank you to fulfill human beings and that they are the main important events. flow to all of them, and you will possibly be able to locate you somewhat slot in with a undeniable one, and learn pledging. At which element i might say ' DO IT ' and don't be the stressful drunk guy that would not comprehend he's friggin stressful.... I hate that guy.

First off, your not really missing much. Also, you are trying to grow up too fast. Go to some high school parties with some kids who are your age. Hanging out with college students can be kind of intimidating. You can still get wasted at high school parties if you want to, but that's another story. And you'll just regret lying to your mom.

Don't do it, it really is nothing special. Plus you hardly know anyone and if your not really outgoing or wasted you probably won't have a very good time. Why lie to your parents about this, your not missing out on anything, plus every person at that party will probably know you not 18, sorry. It is not worth the trouble you can get in, believe me.

I'll admit that I lied and went to a party that had alcohol when I was a sophmore...it was fun and I didn't get caught.
You just have to weigh the pros and cons on going to this party...what will happen if your parents find out you lied?...will you have the ability to leave if somehing goes wrong?
If you go...I hope you have fun...if not...then just know you will get your chance!
