That would definately have to be the 1955 film "Godzilla Raids Again", the second film in the Godzilla series. In it, Godzilla faces off against a monster called Anguirus, a quadropedal beast with porcupine-like spikes on his back. The two monsters fight in the Japanese city of Osaka, eventually making their way to Osaka castle, where Godzilla defeats Anguirus by delivering a crushing bite to his throat and then scorching him with his radiation breath.
