I love the song redneck woman by Gretchen Wilson. Any Redneck women out there? Give an example of how much of a redneck you are?

I grew up in a really small town (pop. 6,000) where the nearest city was at least 6 hours away by car. We had bombfires in our backyard in 5 gallon barrels. If you weren't pregnant by the time you were sixteen, you were "going somewhere in life". We drove ski-doos to work and school--we used regular car parking spots for our ski-doos as well. I actually have a "hick" accent. I'm currently working on a doctorate degree and, since people at that level can be a little pretentious, I've been deemed (by some) as "unintelligent" by the way I talk . My parents fed the foxes that hung out in our back yard. It was considered totally normal to walk to the store in your p.j's and bare feet. As a teenager, I attended "pit" parties (parties involving a bunch of people with pick-up trucks that meet at a sand pit). If you drank anything but beer, you were "a fancy pants". Need I say more???

Hey Ya'll...I am a redneck woman! (I am educated though, not one of those idiot trailer trash hillbillies.) I have Charlie Daniels as my MySpace song, I bait my own hook, I wear flip-flops from March till October, I go four-wheelin' in the mud, and I drink Bud in the bottle.

I probably have plenty of other redneck qualities, but since I see them as normal I don't recognize them as being "redneck".
