I had the roommate from hell. I actually lived the movie Single White Female so, I can relate. If you think you're being used, you probably are. Put your foot down. Stop letting the bum borrow your car. You can tell him no. It's in your vocabulary. If he gets mad, he'll live. Stop cleaning up after him too. He's a big boy, he can do that himself. In the meantime, start looking for another roommate. You don't owe this guy an explanation or the use of your stuff. Stop that crap now before he starts using your bank card.

Didn't you ask this question yesterday? Get a seperate basket for your laundry and only do yours, do you care if he doesn't have any clean clothes? As for being used for the car, say no you own it and you have possession of the keys. If he asks you for a lift tell him you are going the other way or charge petrol money like he'd have to pay if he ordered a taxi. Everytime he wants a lift ask him for 10 or 15 dollars, petrol is too expensive now to be driving out of your way.

Are both of your names on the lease? If not and your name is, then it's time to have a talk with him to either straighten up, get some transportation, or move out. You're under no obligation to take him places. He needs to grow up and act like an adult.

1. Stop doing his laundry. It's his business if he wants to wear dirty boxers. If he doesn't want to, he can do his own.
2. Don't let him use your car. If he wants to, he can then pay half of the insurance, gas, and maintenance.
3. Don't clean up after him. If he leaves dishes, etc., lying around, put it in his bed.
You can't be taken advantage of if you don't allow yourself to be. Good luck.

tell him, if he leaves his dirty laundry all over just pick them up and put it in his room, and if he needs a ride tell him that you can't because you hardly have any fuel for your car. or find another person to room mate with. but if you just be quiet and don't say nothing it will never change. and its up to you if you want to give him a ride, you do have the right to say no. good luck.

you need to sit down with him and draw up an agreement of house rules and sign it and get him to sign it!
including the consequences of eviction if the rules are broken!
dirty laundry to extreme becomes a health hazard
if he is not happy abiding by the agreement and signing the legal document then hes out! also include your car usage is not part of the sharing!

If your room mate doesn't do his laundry let him wear dirty clothes, and don't let him use your car! Is there a chance that you can get another room mate? If so, i think you should.

Either ask him to cooperate if he intends to stay or ask him to move out if he doesn 't help around the house. Tell him that the flat is shared and so must the housework.

then don't let him use your car or ride with you....and make him do his laundry...if you can't do any of this...I would tell you to grow up now and be an adult...if he can't do his laundry, throw it out the door/window and tell him he smells and make him clean himself up...then, boot his a** out the door and find a new roommate...(and make sure you TELL them to be clean and they have to have their own car, you aren't a taxi service...)
