Night by Elie Wisel is important because it shows what life was really like for Jews going through Nazi camps. It shows the pain and horror as well as the irony in Elie's life during the war. Many people know that Jews had trouble during the war, but this book really shows how it actually happened. One of the reasons why the author wrote it (according to a video I watched about the book) was in hopes that people in future generations would learn not to do things the way that the Nazi's did.

Hope this helps!!! As for finding it out themselves, how do they know that I'm not just making it up as I go along? I might be...mwahahahahaha!

I'll give you one too - because there are idiots out there who try to say the Holocaust never happened and we need the truth from survivors like the author.
