Any type of gathering profession, such as mining or herbalism bring in good money. Enchanting could also be a good profession if you're willing to put in the time and effort. You have to have good reputation with certain factions to get good enchants.. plus the supplies cost a lot.. but in the end you can make some money. Not really fast money though.

I suppose your best bet would be herbing/mining. If you farm in an area for a few hours for herbs/ores, you can make money. Either way, though, it still takes time.

Perhaps you should just farm. =D

I have a lvl 70 hunter and im a miner and b.s i make alot of money atleast 300-500 in just a couple days mining will always make good money because alot of the professions use the ores and stones from the veins, check out other answers and see what others say but in my opinion mining is best way to go

Mining is the most profitable, I believe. You can always combing it with Skinning/Tailoring/Enchanting and make a little more cash that way.

I've made the most money getting to 70 and completing quests, tho, because you get extra cash from completing them at 70. About 2 hrs of questing in Netherstorm netted about 150 gold, not counting what I made off the greens/cloth that also dropped.
