I mean in EVERYTHING she does! first the "tyra show" then giving the gifts and even in an episode she said "beyonce, i love you just like oprah loves .....(forgot her name). i think shes also a FAKE

This is a good question, in my opinion. I think she tries to be like Oprah, but still maintains her individuality on her show.

No, not really. If you pay attention to really any talk show they give out prizes every once in a while and every talk show has someone who they mention alot or have on their show often. There is a simple talk show formula, which Tyra is following with her own stuff thrown in there. I like Tyra's subjects. She talks about stuff that actually matters, or things that women in general would be interested in; such as STDs, drugs, self image problems (who better to teach you then someone who has been criticized her whole career) men issues, responsibility etc. I think you are being a little too critical of her. Besides, who can even match Oprah... she's Oprah.

NT NT NT, NO!, she is so not a copycat. thats STUPID B.S. just becouse she is successful?... TYRA and OPRAH are both idols... i don't know why in the world you would say that about TYRA. she and OPRAH have different styels on there shows. Yes..but at the same time she probably looks up to Oprah for inspiration just like many other people do. Tyra may not have her show on forever because she is a work-a-holic and her feet aren't firmly planted in the ground. Maybe she'll have a Mariah Carey type breakdown and then get real with more human qualities than before. Her recent weight gain is a good start!

Really, who am I to judge another, but everyone has there own opinion on different people. It is all normal. If you don't have an opinion on something I don't know what to say because everyone should have an opinion on something. I like Oprah but I also like Tyra. They both are good role models, but you don't see Tyra opening a school for young girls and teenagers. Like I said everyone has there own opinion and this is mine. I think Oprah's show is for issues and Tyra's show is for beauty and hair and other body features.

yea, now that u mentioned it, it does seem like she is copying oprah....
hey, i would like to be oprah, minus the few pounds...she's the richest most successful woman in the U.S.
i don't watch tyra show, so i can't really make a comparison but the few episodes i did watch it reminded me of the oprah show

Yeah..i think so...Tyra's show is getting annoying now...i mean...they got nothing interesting to talk about...only beauty "secrets"...and modeling...but...didnt she retire of modeling??...then whats the point of making all those shows about modeling??...GET OVER IT!!!...and yes...also...she's trying to hard to become the next Oprah.
I don't hate Tyra..i think shes beautiful & talented but her crappy talk show doesnt help her at all. She does a pretty good job with ANTM & she should stick with that.

Maybe Oprah was/is her role model?
The next thing she will be doing like Oprah is a diet, and i dont mean that being rude, but how Oprah lost weight and was all into telling it in national tv and how she did it and who helped etc, Because i keep seeing all these stories on how Tyra is getting big--althiugh i kniow she dont agree-or is she pregnant??heck i don tkeep up

The difference is, Oprah has people on her show to talk about them. Tyra has people on her show to talk about herself.
