It is not the shampoo that makes them cry. There are several things possible that makes babies cry at bath time. Read up in your instruction manual for more information.

Don't know, but my daughter used to laugh like crazy whenever we'd suction her nose. Too bad we can't just rub some of that tear-free stuff on them between about 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. so the mommies and daddies could get a good nights sleep.

I think anytime you get something in your eyes, be it water or "tear free" shampoo, its gonna burn.
