omg...me and my mom and been butting heads for the last 4 days if she doesnt stop i think imma move in with my dad (out of state) and thats why weve been fighting she wont compromise with me for anything and im getting tired of it but im 16 only 2 more yrs to go imma try to help her...but good luck with your parents..i try not to fight but idk sometimes its unavoidable but it shows they care just be patient and youll get out or theyll relize how they are pushing you away...but dont cause a bad relationship with your parents you will need them along the way....but anyways good luck

It all depends on what the compromise is...maybe the compermise is unfair. Or there trying to get you to learn a lesson. You don't know it now,but when you are older and look back at it you will understand.

u know what, dont even start complaining unless u've heard ur dad call u fat and say u suck and ur parents wont let u stay after school to get help w/ur hw cuz they dont wanna drive u home, but yet they yell at u when u dont get good grades. u obviously dont realize how childish u sound. get over it. life can always be waaay worse. and no that whole thing wasnt about my parents, its my friend, my point is STOP COMPLAINING LIFE ISNT FAIR LiFE SUCKS AND COULD BE WORSE sO LEARN TO DEAL!!!!!

i know you don't want to hear this, but when you get a little older you'll realize that your parents did it all for your own good. you will meet people in college who had "cool" parents back then, and you realize those parents really weren't so "cool" afterall. they just didn't care about their kids so they let them do whatever. if your parents are a little strict, it just means they care about you and don't want anything bad to happen to you.

Oh i know how you fell.. im 16 and they are so friggen unfair its not even funny i wanna go out they say yes.. then RANDOMLY change their mind and tell me NO..
Believe its deffinatly unfair.

are they unfair cuz they dont want you to see a loser who you think is cool cuz he is 21 and drives a rabbit that his mom gave him and he can buy you beer and take you out past 8:00 with his job at wendys???

I felt like that but u should know what's the reason..Don't just be angry, talk to them and u will understand. I felt it yesterday night when they cannot give me the cellphone I expected but I will just accept it. I think they apologized to u right? learn to accept it...

they r unfair when it comes to music and dating...but i get the dating part...i luuuuuv music and my parents sometimes dont let me get the music i want...but they r sooooo protective that i have to find the lyrics print them out then give em to my rents to see if i can download it to my iPod!!!
