Just curious what you think a good middle name for Matteo is...we're Italian so the last name WILL sound good with this name. We are just stuck on a middle name? we don't want an Italian middle name though!

Matteo is a lovely name. It's too bad though that you don't want an Italian middle name. Matteo is Italian, it makes sense to use a second Italian name, the sound would flow better.
I like Matteo Davide, or Matteo Daniele, or Matteo Andrea more than Matteo David or Matteo Daniel or Matteo Andrew.

Also, remember that no matter how hard you try, the name may end up being changed, anglicised or shortened: David/Dave/Davy, Daniel/Dan/Danny, Andrew/Andy/Drew so you could end up with Matteo Dave or Matt Dave; Matt/Dan.....etc., etc., etc.

Ahhhhhh what a tough decision you have! Good luck on the name. Are you sure you're having a boy:)).

It is a very nice name and I agree with the ones that tell you don't let anybody tell you otherwise..
the suggestions are pretty good...and although you don't want an italian middle name..that name really goes good with:

Matteo Loui

But in any event whatever middle name you have for Matteo..it will be awsome!
Congrats!!

Matteo James
Matteo Gian (ji-ahn)
Matteo Angelo
Matteo Brice
Matteo Craig

I'm feeling a 1 syllable middle name would be best here. Good luck! and again don't listen to people ridicule the name, our family has Greek ancestry so we named our boys Elias, Stavros & Vasilio

hi! don't let anyone talk you out of that name. i personally like the name Matteo a lot, i also like the spelling you chose. i am european, i understand:)

for middle name (it would help if you mentioned your last name, so the middle name would fit nicely in between), but i would go with:
Matteo Luke
Matteo Jack (Jack - my son's name:))
Matteo Jake
Matteo Alec (Or Alex)
Matteo James
Matteo Jeremy
Mateo Jagger
Matteo Joshua
Matteo Sam (or Samuel)
Matteo Ralph

...little bit more classic names... depends if you want something shorter or longer...
...or maybe go with "family tradition" for middle name? if there are any in your family you like.....

congratulations and good luck with little cute Matteo!:)
