ONly as an adult. THat is, question methods, objectives, but be ready to suggest alternate means and be willing to help assume some of the responsibility for getting the job done. Just questioning authority in general is just a child being a brat.

By all means yes. Especially publicly elected officials that are supposed to represent the population. If the authority is a true leader with your best interests behind his/her actions then they should have no problem responding to your inquiry.

No! They're doing such a good job of screwing up everything up. One day they might even want us to vote for them or even ask us our opinion on some things or go to war for them. We SHOULD all know what to do then, shouldn't we?
