ummm.... let's start with Palawan
HOW TO GET THERE: of course you need to get a plane to get there. you'll never make it on car (sad 2 say).
WHERE TO STAY: It depends actually on what part of Palawan
you're going.... (I'm sorry but I think I forgot the
names of the hotels. You can search the net or
use the advice of other people here).
WHAT TO DO: The best vacation is exploring mother nature.
Go to beaches and caves.
WHAT'S NOT TO BE MISSED: I've been to Palawan for two times
already, but I definitely enjoyed my
stay at El Nido Resort.
Palawan is actually a nice place to visit. Hope you had a wonderful time.
Angeles City
..ummm.... surelynotme is right. Why do you wanna go there? I've been there for how many times and I can tell you there's nothing there to see, unless, like surelynotme said, you want to go to a bar or the Clark Air Base.
HOW TO GET THERE: Buses from Manila to Angeles are
available.
WHERE TO STAY: Mimosa or Fontana (located at Clark Air Base)
WHAT TO DO: ...ummm... malling, golf (Mimosa), swimming, explore diff. foods in Angeles
WHAT NOT TO BE MISSED: ...ummm.... ask other people

Better plan your trip well. Before you leave, explore on the internet, Palawan on 43 places! I suggest that once you arrive from the International airport, make a connecting flight or another flight going to Palawan. I think you will have no problem is you will take the Philippine Airlines if you are coming from San Francisco or LA. You can take a PAL domestic flight going to Palawan. From Palawan, you can take a flight going to Clark Airbase, which is in the province of Pampanga where Angeles City is located. Why are you so interested in Angeles? you might get frustrated by this place. This is definitely no more like the Pampanga we had before when the US Bases where still here. Anyway, it is your right to go where you want to go.
From Angeles, you can take aircon buses going to Manila. It is better that you be in Manila before your flight back home since it is near the International Airport.

To go to Palawan, you have to fly, of course, because it is another island far from Manila.
Why on earth would you want to go to Angeles City? I used to live there. It is a pit. It has nothing to recommend it, unless you are looking for stripper bars.

umm...why dont you rent a car and get a driver to drive you around?or why not stay with family?cant really help you.i dont know my way around either and i LIVE here(philippines).=p
