How do you know that your comoputer is infected with this particular Trojan horse? Most antivirus programs can detect and remove Trojan horses. You can download the free edition of BitDefender antivirus program. PC World Magazine awarded BitDefender as the best antivirus program for 2006. The free edition does not have any real time protection; but, you can run a scan and remove any malicious files. It is very good at detect and removing viruses and Trojans as well. You can find it, and many more free antivirus programs, at (http://www.filehippo.com/software/antivirus/)

What you are seeing in Trojan Zlog is an entry into your registry that is "self healing" and upon start up the Trogan becomes a full program. That is even if you use an Antivirus such as Norton or AVG to rid of it.

So to rid of it fully, lets hope it just appeared and that makes it easier. Delete it best you can with Antivirus, and also go to Search and see it it has any entry in C:/ If so delet it there also. Then simply do a System Restore to an earlier date when the thing wasnt around. That will restore your registry and to when the self healer wasnt in there. Go to Start, Programs, Accesories, System Restore and restore to an earlier date. Then reboot it will be GONE

Now if you just happened to have that thing for like a year or more, then go to GOOGLE and type in TrojanZlog and see how the Geeks get rid of it with a Registry change.
