Greetings. Oh yeah, I've had my share friend. I've worked in McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Fazoli's, Long John Silver's (got sick off their food once) and Ponderosa (a steakhouse which used to be real good). The thing about restaurant work is that the hours you want may not be there and you may have to clean up after really messy people. The thing about being involved with the public is that they feel an employee is their slave to wait upon them hand and foot. I've been a waiter where a guy only left a quarter after he left. I think in some ways I liked all of them, but possibly Fazoli's and Taco Bell were the better. Oh yeah... I once worked at a Burger King where they were in a rush to fix burgers for the lunch crowd. I had cleaned the broiler up, but then it broke down. So things went awry and they actually deep fat fried the burger patties... and they didn't get done! Honest... scout's honor! Whatever you do... keep pushing and have a goal to move up.

I have worked on and off in restaurants since the age of 15, doing some of everything (my parents own one) and I am 43 now.....

Yes, when I was young I worked a fast food job for about 3mos., hated it. Then I was a waitress in an upscale place. Most of the time it was better at least we got tips. Some people can't help but be arseholes in any setting.

yes, what do you want to know, I made fresh coffee for my customers and washed my hands all the time I swear!
Waitress 10 years ago at Dennis restaurant; the only thing I really enjoyed was that I learned politics that way, and it's a very demanding job, you're constantly moving and sometimes you take crap from really moody customers. I got pinched in my butt one time.

Yes, I've worked in them as diswasher, waiter, busboy, cook and night manager. Now I build them.
