I have to write a speech about a hero. Who is a cool person I could use? No superheroes or family members please!

How about some old timer from your town, like who owns his own barber shop forever and tells stories of way back when, or a someone who runs the fish and bait shop???

Anyone who inspires you to do something for your future. It could be a politician, someone who is involved in the community, or a business figure you aspire to. Example...Bill Gates, how he built his empire.
The things you have to keep in mind:
Who your hero is?
Why they are your hero?
What have they accomplished?
What do you want to do in life that they have inspired you to do?
Example for me....
A criminal justice lawyer dealing with kids...some trauma in my childhood put my focus on this. The lawyer who worked with me at the time was phenomenal and put me at ease making the process so much more bearable. I now volunteer (20 years later) at an organization dedicated solely to that cause. They provide an intermediary environment for children to be questioned, examined, etc...versus the harsh and unfriendly and often scary police station.

It would be cool if you wrote about the good things JFK did. and then go into how he was in the mafia, had an affair. and deserved to die.
