I was wondering what the best cage to keep a rabbit in was. my friend has a cage outside with two compartments, one cagelike the other wooden and shaped like a house. Would an inside one be better?

My husband built our Fred a condo in our family room, he had an area for eating and relieving herself, then another room with blanket s and such for her fun and comfort, then he built a small wooden plank to climb to the upper level, here we hung her bunny bell and put lettuce and treats for her. She loved it and adopted well. Although rule of thumb is to change and clean it everyday, that's right every day it was fully cleaned up fresh mulch and containers of Alfalpha for her. She did run the basement only when we were down with her to keep an eye on what she would get into, she also loved playing with our little dog, or coming upto you and kissing you. They are so darn cute but alot of work.

Bunnies are definitely better kept inside. They do not smell bad unless you don't clean their cage regularly. If you buy a wire-floored cage make sure your bunny has enough fur on its feet to be comfortable, if not get them some padding. Also let them run around the house, but make sure you bunny proof everything first. Get more info on www.rabbit.org.

A wood hutch with an open, screened in area and a closed sleeping area is best, raised with screened floors to let the pellets fall through.

So why did you ask this in fish?
