It didn't take thousands of pounds of thrust... there is virtually no gravity on the moon... what does it matter anyway really? We're going back in a few years... so what does it matter?

A month ago or two, i was watching a show on this topic on the National Geographic Channel. They showed many possibilities explaining why this was not true like how is the flag moving in the video if their is no wind? The flag is still possible to move even if there is no wind because most of the time the flagged moved when they astronauts were moving it. There were many questions to test the theory and all were answered. A last and final proof was shown at the end of this episode. When the astronauts came back to earth, they did leave something behind which was a laser of some sort. This laser was used to determine where the moon is located and what is the distance away from earth. First, they send a a laser from earth to that laser and it responds back. That may be enough evidence that the astronauts were at the moon but you still never know. They might've sent it in a little space ship to the moon or something. Many people say this was a hoax and it was filmed and created in what is notoriously knowned as Area 51. Others don't care or think it was true and that people are just stupid, or because of religion they say that no man can touch anything outside of earth which was created by God. Maybe the government hides many things from us, probably for our protection or because of embarrassment or something. Personally, I don't give a damn.... It is not important and i will not die because i don't know if its true or not. This country is all ready messed up anyways and all we need right now is a better government that cares about us, the people.

I find some things interesting about the landing.
For instance...in the video they show the thing landing and the ground. This thing is putting out thousands and thousands of pounds of thrust, and what..two little pebbles move on the ground...In a movie scene when the people are walking...the mountains in the back show the spacecraft...in another scene it's gone, but the mountain shape is the same.
This is why It could be real:
Many photos of the moon released by NASA have been "smudged" of peculiar looking objects...in other words an Alien moon base...mostly perhaps on the dark side of the moon. I find this interesting because why would nasa want to smudge the pics, unless they wanted to keep something secret. When the guy landed he reported he saw some sort of moving objects on the other side of the crater..sort of like creatures.
So either the moon base is true...and there are aliens there..and the landing was legit...
or
The landing was a setup in a stage room, there are no aliens ( but im sure there still are orbiting around our gravity ) and it was just one elaborate hoax to tell the Soviet Union we are powerful.

This wasn't something that happened overnight; it took years. Those of us who were alive at the time watched it develop. For this to have been a scripted event, it would have had to be scripted over many years involving thousands of conspirators. Do you honestly think no one in thousands would have blabbed by now? And it wasn't just one event, it was multiple flights. It was a logical progression and we watched it unfold. Those who claim it was faked are those who either cling to the notion that the world is flat or they were not alive at the time.
A reading tutor in a local elementary school read an old book about spaceflight in her class and it ended, "Someday we may even walk on the moon!" She told the class, "We already have, of course--this is an old book." The kids hooted and didn't believe her! But these were 8 to 10 year olds in 1982 and had never been told about it. Older people didn't make a big deal about it because it was old news. So she brought in material and taught them this bit of history that simply wasn't being taught.

No, conspricies are just that, conspricies.
We really did land on the moon and to prove it, my uncle was the man who flew the plane from the landing of the capsule full of moonrocks back to land.
I really am not joking. His name is Lt. Commander Raymond Hill. He flew the rocks and crashed the plane on incoming. The landing gear failed and he ejected. Luckly the moon stuff survived.
The whole conspiracy is what I have heard based on 1 thing, the non presence of everything we left. Well, it does not matter because 1, the flag is pointed straight up toward us so we could not see it. 2, the metal is made of aluminum, chromium and steel, so it would blend in with the moons environment and reflect off all light. and 3, If we really did not go, then where did they get the pictures of what the earth looks like and show them to us with the moons surface down on the bottom without knowing what it looked like. If they did not know what it looked like in 1969, then how could they make a photoshopped image of it.

Conspiracy theories are a cheap shot because no one was there - not the people making the claims, and not us, you and me. Who TF knows. BUT - I think that someone in all the world, all the media, all the other governments would have discovered if we faked the trip to the moon - and why would we? So no, I don't believe it for a second. Plus, we've brought back moon rocks and geologists have analyzed them and this conspiracy would have to involve tens of thousands of people who would have no reason to work together to keep such a secret. It's just BS. But I wasn't there, so I can't be "sure". That's why it's a cheap shot - no one can absolutely deny it, except the thousand people who were involved in it - and they all say it happened.

Well, the lunar landing doubts were started by the Flat Earth Society. After we cam back from the moon, to preserve their society, they said that the photos and the mission were done in a studio and a lab since the earth clearly looked round. Do you believe them or NASA. If it's them, you'd better apply for membership.

Instead of just listening, go read about Apollo then form an opinion.
Ask yourself how tens of thousands of Apollo employees could have held their tongues.
Ask yourself how a simultion of the landings (6 of them over 3 years) could have been installed in the systems at mission control without hundreds of controllers noticing. And having installed it, the simulation workign perfectly for 3 years, so that none of these bright engineers noticed they were watching a fake.
It doesn’t take much thought to put the hoax thing away as utter nonsense.
Think for yourself.

Yes, we did. If we had not you would have heard all about it from the Russians not from some silly person thirty years later who gets more attention than he deserves.
Go to www. BadAstronomy.com for a detailed discussion
You may also want to check -out the Flat Earth Society. There are some who even believe that.

Engage the orbiter Satellite to capture the moon landing zone and it will tell us everything about truth or false. Cost is relatively low nowaday. hee hee...
