I want to get a ferret but I have no idea if their legal in the U.S....... If they are please tell me if thier legal in California.

like maximum human beings have stated, ferrets are unlawful in some states and in others they're legal. Ferrets are unlawful in some states because they don't opt for them getting interior the wild and coming up a inhabitants which could significantly change the ambience and envrionment. on the different hand, getting stuck possessing those animals is amazingly, impossible. i understand a few those who've unlawful ferrets in california.

Nope they aren't. They're legal everywhere but New York State, Hawaii and California. But a lot of people in California have em. I have two...and a bunch of vets will see and treat ferrets.

I believe they are but you should consider more than if their legal. Ferrets often have a musky order, can be tempermental& like a lot of things they have their own personalities and varying degrees of litter box training. They're extremely mischevious and do best in pairs or groups with other ferrets.

Ferrets are illegal in California. Too bad because they're really cute, amusing, playful, and make great pets. Now what I want to know is why pet stores in California have ferret food considering that they're illegal. Weird huh?

Yes they're legal. But why the hell would you want a ferret?? Whatever you do don't get one. I had one and it was awful. They smell really bad. Your ferret will stink up your house.

They are not legal to buy or sell in California, but I think you can buy them in Arizona and bring them to California--provided you have a license of ownership. Not positive about the second part, but I am sure they are illegal in CA.

Yes, ferrets are legal in all of the united states and they are classified as a domesticated animal. You can find them at a nearby petstore, im positive of it =) silly goose

No. Ferrets are illegal in Californa and Hawaii. In any other state ferrets are perfectly legal.
