You can't get out without forfeiting.
I am too late now but for the future:
If you report abuse it will help. Yahoo has means to look up the entire game,(screenshot),to check it out. Yahoo! bars or terminates after investigation. Just take notes and after the game, report them. This is the information you will need:

Who was involved and where?
What happened?

Click on abuse report underneath the alphabet list. Then scroll down to games and click. Then just fill out the form.

Wait until the time limit is up. It'll force a forfeit on their part. Else you can just close game the window (that's worked for me in the past, but don't know if it's changed, haven't played a Yahoo game for a long time now).

If you are in contact with this person, tell them that they can either finish the game, or you can report them to the moderators of whatever game board you are playing on.
