Look for these names on Wikipedia. I'm not sure you will find something about Einstein and the consciousness, but you will find all the details about Nietzsche and his existentialist theories. I don't know Bergson, but if he has theories that related to the unconscious, it will say so on Wikipedia. Awesome website btw.

Also, every school of thought has a different opinion about the conscious and unconscious. I suggest you look them up too: behaviourism and cognitive, psycho analysis and psycho dynamic...

Well the usual trio given for "modern consciousness" is Darwin, Marx and Freud. One theme here is the supposed rise of rationalism and decline of religious explanation. Look up the "rationalization of the world" (Max Weber's term).
