So many pregnancies are unplanned, unwanted, or ill-advised, but all the cards are mushy, cringe-making celebrations of the utopian pregnancy being bestowed on the model nuclear family.

Surely there's a market for "Whoops! That's one hell of a mistake to make!", or, "You really shouldn't be allowed to breed!", or, "It's not too late to pop down the clinic...", or just plain, "Comiserations on the ruination of your life!"

Is this a great business idea, or what?

Why am I telling you lot, when I should be getting a patent?

You've found a niche....why not approach Durex, maybe they'd invest to get you started?

Yeah great idea. I usually find myself looking at the sympathy cards instead - so it would be great if there was a genuine alternative - and with your sense of humour they are bound to be good!

I always feel myself cringing when I have to write something nice about babies in a card. I usually just say 'hope you're sleeping!'

the folk who hate Israel do no longer concern approximately information, and could make any fact, no remember how absurd, that makes it sound like Israel is contained in the incorrect. Take, as an occasion, the declare that Israel is like Nazi Germany, this is so ridiculous, it would not deserve a precise refutation. Zvi the Fiddler

Well, consider that many of those "unwanted" ones won't even get announced to people... but I like the "you shouldn't be allowed to breed" phrase on a card! Funny!

great ideas! I'd buy one of those.. i find sympathy cards are better suited for a pregnancy...
Do a sympathy line like "sorry your boyfriend dumped after he knocked you up" or "sorry you were too drunk and forgot to use a condom"OR " you knew birth control wasnt 100%"

scarp the cards, we can set up a dodgy market stall selling rusty cote hangers and hoovers. that will sort it.
