I have a pair of tan cargo pants and they fit me fine in the waist and but, But in my thighs and legs they are overly huge does anyone know how to make these smaller without taking them to the tailer website will be very helpful on how to do it step by step

I would take them to a tailor.

Unless you're already good at sewing and altering clothes, the effort of altering them yourself isn't worth it. Tailors don't generally charge a whole lot for their services. If you get the pants altered to fit your body, you will wear them much more often because you'll look great and feel comfortable. Many drycleaners have tailors work for them. Drop in your closest one and ask for a price quote.
