The only rules to this presentation is that we have to do it on a topic race related. Some people have done interracial adoption, NAACP, etc. Anyone have a good topic??? This is for a 300 level college course

How about: Races: a utopia.
Races are just about the colour of the skin. Which, to me, is not enough to differentiate someone from someone else.

What might be cool is a look at race and music. Rap, for instance, is almost exclusively black. Pop is a good mix, country is almost exclusively white. I think just focusing on rap would be fascinating.
My boyfriend's suggestion: the depiction of Persians in the movie 300. Easy.

Percentage of businesses owned by different races would be a different approach. Maybe a certain type of business such as Printing companies. Advertising agencies, model agencies, or along that line. Good luck!

Present the social statistics of whites vs. blacks. Compare things such as median income and wealth, mortality and other health stuff, and crime-related stuff (being victims and perps).

what about the ethnic groups in the US adopting the dominant American culture... the Melting Pot type of integration that the US has compared to the Mosaic that Canada has?

Look at whiteness...how it has been constructed through the social construction of other races...look at stuff like white privilege...
