Are you in America?
There are engineering programs that dont' require much of anything to be accepted, and there are those that require top SAT scores and grades. Clearly, the better programs will look for:
Top SAT/ACT scores in Math and science (SAT II)
Good grades in math and science
A class schedule that includes the most difficult science and math courses your school offers, that you can pass (AP, IB).
Good luck.
Regardless of where you land, whether it be a top school or not one, you will need good math and science skills to succeed.

Lots of math, science, and engineering courses intro and advanced. You have to score pretty high in the math and science area to get in.
