Every summer, pumupunta kami ng mga tropa ko sa Olongapo. I swear naka-line up ang mga beach resorts dun pre. Walang entrance fee, yung cottage lang babayaran. kaya lang kung medyo pasosyal ka eh hindi advisable dun. Pangmahirap lang kase un eh.Wahaha!Try mong sundin yung mga advice ng nasa taas kung mejo sosyal na beach ang trip mo.*wink*

Beaches around metro manila are already polluted. I dont even know of a nice beach in Cavite anymore. Puerto Azul is no longer nice!
The nearest so far is Batangas and Quezon but I cant recommend it to you since it is not nice!
In Laguna, there are pools all over the place.

Try Matabungkay Beach Resort. It's in Batangas, but it's close enough. It's only about 2 hrs away from Manila. It's a great place plus there are beauty and wellness packages, water sport facilities, spa, and other facilities that you can take advantage of.

Down south - Caylabne beach $75/night with breakfast for 2 pax. In Batangas - Vistamar, Eaglepoint, Aquatropical, Matabungkay, Laiya, La Luz beach resorts - rates between P2,500 to P5,000/night. hi there... there are lots of beaches near manila.. Along the stretch of Laiya, San Juan, Batangas there are several private beaches you can choose from. Its just about 4hrs travel time from manila... my boyfriend and i have recently gone to Virgin Beach Resort.. and it was the perfect setting for peace and quiet.. white sand beach... tranquil environment.. clean waters... good food... water sports activities.. etc... you can look at this website

personally there's nothing worth recommending that's close to metro manila. i'd say puerto galera would be worth the few hours of bus ride to batangas then the banca ride to the island!

the nearest beach resort in manila would be in cavite area. but you have to be careful coz there are lots of jellyfish in that area. water is also nice and clean.
