Id be a bit cautious on things like Viruses and Trogans and Dialers, the entire Net is on the look out for these things and long before you even immagine the thing possibly entering your computer those things are gotten rid of. That is why, even with the hundreds generated daily, you might get one of those things in 6 months if at that rate. And an your Norton or AVG is well equipted to sequester those things and even if they are in your computer they are inactive. In particular they are inactive using the browser MozillaFirefox which doesnt use Active X.

On the Adware, that is another thing. The snooping is part of what Websites like Yahoo, MSN and lots of others do to satisfy their advertisers. They simply would not exist without this going on. There are at least a thousand companies in the snooping business trying to find our your buying needs and then popping right in front of you an ad on "just what you need" So without this revenue, there would be no internet.

Sure there are hackers trying to get into valuable assets of some company. But do you really think a hacker would waste his time trying to hack into my email which is nothing more than a bunch of useless junk. Hardly.

A lot of what you read is "SCARE HEADLINES" which are used to get the attention of the masses, so take that into account when you write this paper.
