Yep, lots of them. My mom, my dad and my brother are all overweight vegetarians.
I'm vegetarian and not overweight, but I used to be. A lot of them eat too many refined carbs, which leads to overeating.

I was one. (Not always and not for the first five years, but the last three...I was 10 - 15 lbs. overweight.)
Now I occasionally eat meat...and I still need to lose 20 pounds.

every vegan i know is fit. there was this one girl, i think she was a vegetarian but she still ate junk, and she was chubby. im vegetarian, im in shape but im no rail. and its not hard for me to gain weight

Yes they don't only eat vegetables they can eat stuff like
rice
spaghetti
chocolate
chips
potatoes
candy
these all have a lot of fat in them
