Woa this question is asked once a month, at least.
Bottom line is there are no vehicle which will ever EVER gonna reach light speed. Meanwhile for a vehicle which reaches 0.99999999999 of speed of light, switching the headlights would cause a ray of light to be emitted at the speed of light with respect to the vehicle AND at the speed of light with respect to a stationary observer.

Einstein asked this very question, more or less. This is why nothing can travel at the speed of light. What happens is that the headlights shine ahead at the speed of light. If the vehicle is traveling near light speed, the next question is relative to what? As far as you sitting in that vehicle goes, you're standing still and the headlights are doing their job, illuminating what's in front of you. The speed of light is constant, regardless of the reference frame. If somebody saw you zipping by at nearly the speed of light and saw you turn on your headlights, the observer would see the light from your headlights moving at the speed of light, as would you, regardless of your state of motion.

You can't go the speed of light but you can get as close as you want. If you do and you turn on your headlights, the beam goes away from you at the speed of light. Put yourself deep in space with no matter close. As far as you're concerned, you are at rest with respect to your vehicle and there is no way to tell how fast you're going. There is no absolute thing you can point to to measure speed.

you wouldn't be able to see the vehicle in the first place unless you were also traveling the speed of light
assuming you were though, I'd think you would be able to see the car and it's headlights, but you wouldn't be able to make out anything else around you

from the prospective of the car, the head lights are traveling at the speed of light. from outside the car the car is traveling at the speed of light and the light from the headlights are traveling at twice the speed of light, I think.!!
