The sea anemone, which many refer to as the flower of the sea, look like plants but are actually meat-eating animals. Since the sea anemone often spends its life in one place, latched on to a rock or coral, it eats by luring its food to swim over its mouth. It then stings its prey with its tentacles and pushes the food it into its mouth.

Based on the above information, which of the following is the sea anemone most likely to eat?

Answer: a. A stray piece of seaweed
b. Another sea anemone
c. Bait from a fisherman's hook
d. A piece of coral
e. A small fish

E. A small fish

Not A - seaweed isn't lured over, and isn't meat.
Not B - other sea anemones aren't drifting around, though they are able to move.
Not C - not going to be lured over; nor is D.

A. or E. A stray piece of seaweed or a fish.

Coral would be to hard, other anenomes do not move to it, fishermen dont have hooks that normally go that deep.

It cycles the seaweed and it paralizes the fish.
