There is no question we are adding stuff to the atmosphere. That is a basic physical condition that will exist when you have as much industrialization as the world has.
But to say unequivically that man is the sole cause of global warming or cooling is really questionable.
The problem is that the last time we had an ice age or global warming, there were no cars, no industrial plants spewing smoke, or any manmade contribution to the atmosphere.
It is a natural phenomenon that is inevitable and we might as well accept that fact and just go on with our lives.
I certainly am not about to lose any sleep over it.

There have been 6 Major Mass Extinction events in Earth's History. The last one was 65 million years ago before Man ever appeared on Earth.
I have a lot of questions and all I get is people throwing negativity at me, instead of giving me facts.
1. Polar Bears can swim from 60 to 100 miles, and they love the water. If not, then why does every Polar Bear exhibit at the zoo, have a pool for the Polar Bears? The Polar Bear population has increased from 10,000 to 20,000.
2. The Polar caps on Mars are melting. There is no way Man could impact that. But the cause of Mars changes might be the same reason for Earth's changes.
3. Why was there not Global Warming and severe climate change during the Industrial Revolution when unfiltered pollutants were spewed into the air. Why was there no Global Warming then?
4. 30 years ago, there was a threat of Global Cooling. It was on the cover of Time Magazine. What changed? Either the data was flawed back then or it was mis-interpreted, so how can we trust that data to help us predict the future?
5. Last year it was predicted that 9 Hurricanes would hit the Gulf of Mexico, only 5 Hurricanes formed and none of them reached North America. The prediction was off by 45%. It was predicted due to Global Warming. So if they can't accurately predict the hurricanes, how can we trust the data?

Neither.
Hard science: the ocean controls the ecology of the other 3 tenths of the world. Not rain forests, not amber waves of grain, not flood plains.
Oh sure,. each of those help keep a balance to the nature thing, tweaking it here and there, locally..
First question should have been: Is the ocean temperature warming up because there is more molten magma leaking into the Pacific ocean depths?
Yes. Now THAT is frightening because there isn't anything we can do about it.

It scares me to death. Sometimes, i cant sleep because of it bugs me! I saw Al gores movie an unconvinient truth and wow oh wow. We need to do something. I dunno if youve heard this but al gore is offering 25 million to the 1st scientist who can find some kind of cure for global warming. he was very smart in doin this cuz itll encourage many scientists to work at their hardest. my study teaacher doesnt beleive ANYTHING about globalwarming she thinks that al gore made up all the facts and he pollutes20x than the average persson. I totally disagree with her. I am very concerned with global warming HOPEFULLY one day an extremely intelligent scientist will find a cure to global warming before things get much worse

The thought of global warming scares me. I'm sad to see how little people are doing to save our planet.

It concerns me deeply. I have been educated on this topic ever since I went to grade school in the eighties. To dismiss it as bunk is to dismiss science.

it's really bad and yeah, it does worry me, but there's really not a ton we can do about it. there are already tons of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and we can't just get rid of them, especially not before global warming really starts to take place (catastrophically).
