Smoke Smell?

My dad smokes cigarettes and I absoluteley hate the smell, but it seeps int my clothes and i smell like smoke every day and I hate it.

Is there any way I can wash the smell out of them or somehow deodorize the clothing before school?

You can add some baking soda to your wash water along with your detergent and a cup or more of vinegar to the rinse water in your washing machine. After drying you won't be able to smell the vinegar, especially if you use a scented dryer sheet while drying. That will take the odors out of your clothes, but if your whole house smells that way then it is likely it is in your hair (a product called Banish can help with that). Unless you take them straight from the dryer and put them on then leave, you may not be able to avoid the smell latching onto you to some degree. Tell your dad how embarrassing it is that you always smell like smoke, and he may start smoking outside (not likely if he is anything like the smokers I know, but it may be worth a try). Banish may also work on your clothes.

I will give you two hints for this sort of problem you are having to deal with, try using White Vinegar neat, all you do is put it in a bowl in your room before you go to bed of course as you certainly would not want to sleep with the smell of vinegar either, but this is fine when you are not in your room, fill the bowl about half full and leave there untill about thirty minutes before going to bed then just simply remove from the room you can use this bowl of vinegar for about three days then just replace with fresh vinegar.

Idea for your clothes you can make your own faux Fabreeze just half fill a empty spray bottle with warm water and add about one capful of fabric softner, any brand any scent of your choosing. Mix together ingredients then spray your clothes with this mixture as you would fabreeze thats it! Good Luck !`

Re Nuz It for Super odor special for smoke we cleaned both vehicles and sprayed them down I smoke and actually was very impressed hope this helps!
