If people have talent, they want recognition and fame. If they do not, they want reassurance of their self worth and need fame to qwell their insecurity. Either way, fame can make a ton of money. Fame comes at a price, but it's up to an in individual to choose if it's too high. I applaud your perspective and your seeing the big picture. Good luck in whatever you do!

As Mr. Antolini so aptly noted in J.D. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye," the need for recognition is the mark of immaturity. These days, people are too stuck on themselves and don't realize that the path to fame is the road to unhappiness.

I agree with you, now the kids when asked what they want to be when they grow up, they dont say a singer or dancer or an actor...they say I wanna be famous.
