I want a broadbanbd facility but do not have a BT line, can I have access to broadband to my pc?

you do need a phone line, though you don't have to go with BT there are several broadband ISP out there just look around for the best of the bunch

do your homework first before signing up with any of them, they all have different rules the cheaper it is the worst you get. though BT seem to be the best. but I can't confirm that
