ok when i turn it on i get the red light, when i press the button i am supposed to get the green light and the blue disk tray light well i dont get the blue one and i get no picture on the screen and the disk tray wont even open...any help?

I say that you should look in your instruction manual or go to the Playstation website to look for a number to call Sony and explain your situation. You will probably have to send your PS2 in to a Sony repair center. About 4 years ago I had to send my PS2 in for repair also. My PS2 was covered under the warranty so I didn't have to pay anything for repair. I hope this helps.

Fixing the Playstation 2 seems out of the question now, the best thing to do would be to take it back to the store you got it at.
