I have a basement apartment, and little woodland creatures keep jumping into our porch and being unable to get out, because it's underground. I'm wondering if there's anything I could plant in my flowerbed that would deter these creatures from leaping into the porch in the first place.

Try marigolds. They are a rather attractive flower but they have a somewhat unpleasant odor that tends to deter animals.

Nasturtium is also a good deterrent.

Try to avoid planting things that will be attractive as well. Rabbits love things like parsley and dill.

ok, i had this difficulty with squirrels in my attic. they have suirrel friendly cages. pass out and get one, they arent too plenty and in case you attempt to be extreme-high quality and not kill them this relatively is the applicable thank you to pass. I took a wad of peanut butter and rolled it with oats putting it in the cage. everytime i set out the cage i'd have a squirrel interior of 24 hours. take the little buggers to a park or uninhabited section and launch them back to the wild. some would run after seeing their caged pals. in the event that they decide directly to no longer then merely capture them additionally, they don't seem to be the best creatures ever. this methodology could paintings wonders on the rabbits too. no weapons, no poison, your flora are solid, each physique is chuffed
