I'm so confusing can someone help me how to do this.

2. y= -5[x+2]
3. y= 1/3[x-1]+2
4. -3[x-6]-3
5. 1/2[x+4]+2
6. -3/4[x+7]-1
7.y=[x]-5
8. y=-[x]+1
9. y= [x+8]
10. y= [x-4]
11. y= [x+9]-14
12. y=[x-3]+10

The vertex is found at the point where the absolute value part is equal to zero. (Those are absolute value marks, right?) For example, on #5, x+4=0 if x = -4. And the answer would be 1/2 (0) + 2 = 2. So the vertex is (-4,2)
