I am a African-American, 20 years old, 1st child, no miscarriages, eat breakfast & lunch & dinner, don't exercise, and I have a little pug. My doctor hasn't said anything about my weight BUT I am just so curious why I haven't gain any weight especially when all the other females around me are gaining and you can see their bellies. I had ultrasound pics and my son is perfect (health wise). SHOULD I START EATING WHEN IM NOT HUNGRY JUST TO GAIN WEIGHT????

You sound like you're doing great. Women carry their pregnancies differently. I didnt get a little pooch where it looked like I was pregnant until I was 6 months along. You're probably going to leave the hospital looking like you did before you got pregnant.

If your doctor isn't concerned don't worry. Some women don't gain alot of weight while others do. Then there are some women who don't gain weight until their last 2/3 months of pregnancy. As long as you and your baby are healthy don't worry. Health is the most important thing. Besides after the baby you are going to have to lose all of that weight.

If the doctor is not concerned then don't worry! I am 32 weeks and I also haven't gained alot of weight and I voiced my concerns to my doctor and she said everything looks great, but to help put on more weight and to get extra nutrients...she suggested drinking one Ensure drink a day and it has made a big difference :)

That could be perfectly normal I lost 15lb in my first trimester and not from morning sickness it's just the way my body dealt with it. If your doctor is not concern and you have a healthy boy then it all seems great. Congratulations
