Im learning how to ollie and i have a problem. when i pop i slide my foot up the front AND backwheels get off the ground but my tail is on the ground and my board is almost verticle kinda like this \ please help me my friend told me to raise my backfoot but i dont know

your friend is telling you the truth about raiseing your back foot and leveling out your board thats why its going like this \ .. right when you pop that back tail and snap your ollie you should have your front foot going up your board and all you half to do is lift that back leg up..Try lifting your front leg up and right after it gets off the ground jump with your other leg and bring both of them up to your chest and thats it really..Hope this helps..

Its been a while since i did it, but you have to add a "hop" to your back foot. You have to get your foot clear topside so the board can raise. If i were you, id watch someone who can ollie. They rent movies with pros doing the tricks at my local video store, there might be some in your area too.

dont put too much weight on ur tail and bend ur legs as high as possible.
