Hi, no I don't think that running away would be the right thing to do. You need to be honest with your dad and let him know that you feel that he is holding you back from some things in your life that you really want to do and be honest with him and say that I'm really thinking that I want to just run away so that I can do the things that I enjoy because you won't let me be who I am. Most parents would rather hear their children, than for them to run away and not know where they are.
You are good at these things and you be straight with him and tell him that you want to be the person you are and it seems he doesn't want to see you happy.
Let him be a hypocrite all he wants but when you have these kinds of feelings running through your head, you need to talk to someone and all you have it seems is your father so either he hears you out and listens to you to understand that you have feelings to or his son is going to end up running away and who knows from there how things will turn out.
Just try and talk to him but you have to TELL him and don't let him cut you off and keep great eye contact, I'm sure if you give him a chance to listen to you things just might turn out a lot different than you expected.
Try this first before you just leave.
Alright good luck.

Running away is a serious thing. If you plan to do that, I think you should really try hard to talk to your dad first, and then, if things don't work out, and you really really want to, run away, but ONLY if you're sure. There's no point in running away if you don't at least try to fix the problem, because then you would just be running away from your problem and that is WAY not good.

Running away wouldn't solve anything.Talk to your dad and pray some more. How old are you because of your young when your older you could move out?I would speak with a pastor because I think it will make things worse if you just left.Unless he is hitting you and beating you I wouldn't run away. There's no point in running away if you don't at least try to fix the problem.

When you runaway not only do you cause yourself more problems, your old problems run away with you. Running is never the answer. Yoou seem to know what you want to do with your life, so stay on track, if dad dosnt want to be part of what you are doing, then do it own your own but at least you will be in a safe place.

how old are you hunny? if your older than 18 and your an adult then just go. but if not then i can tell you in most states running away is illegal and you may end up in jail/juvie. thats not what you want to start your life. i would consider speaking with a pastor and having him speak with you and your dad together. i dont think running away is really the answer. i think it will make things worse.

It's never the answer! It will be the problem and later on you will be searching for another answer. You must be ignoring God because he would never advice you to runa way. Talk to your dad and pray some more. Don't run away sweety! Trust me!

well it shows you care about your dad and how he'll feel, but running away won't solve everything, maybe some things, but not everything. you haven't talked to your dad about this, but you have to try, even though you might know what he'll say or what he'll do.in life, there are things we want to do, and things we don't. I'll say, talk to your dad about it first, and then decide whether you should run away or not.

Jesus wants you to run away, because He knows you won't last 24 hours and you'll learn a valuable lesson.
