Was Dead Silence a good movie for those of you who saw it and why?

While I thought the movie was adequate, it had a lot of flaws. I was disappointed. Some woman here on Yahoo Answers had said it was so scary that she had to sleep with the light on after seeing it so I had hoped for a really scary movie but, like I said, it was just adequate.
I'll grant that the scenery was good, loved the little sleepy town, the cemetery was PERFECT, the Dad's mansion was cool and the decrepit old theater was awesome but it wasn't that scary. Oh, sure, there were moments, but....
I don't want to say too much and spoil it for you if you haven't seen it. Let's just say that it had good moments but also had disappointments.

It is a movie that you would watch on a friday night when you are home alone and don't have anything else to do. The ending is really good but it still leaves unawnsered questions... I say wait till it comes out on DVD and THEN...rent it!... All in all it is a TV movie but has a good but unresolved ending... If that makes any sense

I saw it and it was ok I guess.
The whole doll thing got kinda stupid after awhile.

There's alot better movies.
