But I truly believe that it all evens out in the end....

It may have, but it doesn't mean that you can't regain it!!! Look at me and my name.

I really was reserved all my life up until the past couple of years, now I can't stop voicing my opinion.

Don't worry, when the time is right, it'll hit you so hard, you won't be able to control yourself ... everything will be regained.... not just happiness - everything!!!

I may have missed out on opportunities because I am reserved, but I do not live with many regrets. Furthermore, I am not so old that I cannot experience the things that I thought I lacked. You cannot look back...just move forward and make the most of what you have.

There is a difference between reserved and repressed. You can be reserved and still communicate your wishes effectively. If you repress your wishes thats another story

I have had many reservations in my life....

And I don't think it was really happiness that I lost......

As much as I didn't gain a more rounded life of human experiences...

I don't ever recall being reserved....but then again, I don't ever recall ever being really "happy" either.......go with your heart.
