I'm guessing from where you're question is you mean Ouija board, from the French and German words for Yes.
All you need is a flat piece of board and you write the alphabet plus a few addition things (such as yes and no) and then you need a pointer. Best to look for one with positive energies, you don't want to attract nasties to your seance.
A glass tumbler will work, although I would suggest focussing your positive energies into it before beginning.
