they cant.they give off oxygen

Well, I think they "suck in" stuff thru their FOLIAGE and such to say... if that is what you mean... yes it is OK to say "breathe" as in speaking about it... obviously we know plants are different than animals and it is a completely different thing when speaking about BREATHE for animals... but I guess it is similar in teh extent that stuff is SUCKED IN.... the hope is
to have the right AIR quality for PLANT and ANIMAL
