scarily enough im the exact same as you. Im 5'7 126 pounds and was the fastest on my team. I was also very hard to tackle, considering we did this drill and it took 6 to tackle me. Anyways heres what happened to me, since it sounds like were in very similar situations. I player WR for 8 out of our 12 games. Our running backs wern't preforming the best, so the coach decided to put me in, and i did OK, but not amazing. My advice would be your a little to small, but if you can go up to about 145-150 pounds you'll be good, for now though, play reciver if you can catch.

Running back won't get you anywhere if you aren't blazing-fast at 5'7 and 130. You won't be able to run over anyone, and spin-moves will help you about once per game (unless you're Barry Sanders). You should try wide receiver - you don't have to be the fastest guy on the team to play it... as long as you run crisp routes and can throw some decent blocks, you'll be in good shape. You'll almost always be able to beat a corner on a 10-yard out as long as you have a little bit of speed. A sure-thing 10-yard pickup is a lot better than a throw-it-up-and-pray-it-doesn't-get-picked off play. Go with receiver... it'll be your best bet for now.
