The feeling of friendship you have for her is based on the past. She used to be a good friend but sometimes people change. you have to accept the fact that she's not the same girl you knew before and DE-classify her as a acquaintance. Someone you hang out with sometimes but not a person you would share your feelings to. Replace her with new positive people. Join a group, volunteer. Start new social circles start being nice to people you never quite gave a chance to. it's time for you to mature to a high level than your"friend"

You need better friends! As you get older, friends with come, and friends will go. The ones who stick around are your true friends, and they won't talk behind your back. If they do, they are not your friends, and the relationship will eventually end. You can't keep someone as a friend that doesn't want to be your friend. Let this person go now, and save yourself more hurt down the road.

I think you need to talk to her about it. Tell her that she hurts you everytime she does this to you. Tell her that you two have been friends too long to throw it away because she's trying to look cool infront of these "wrong people". If she's a true friend, she'll understand. Or maybe her head is just in the clouds and she'll blow up and ignore you for these other people. But all in all, she'll realize sooner or later that you were a good friend and she shouldn't have done that to you. Hopefully sooner.
Good Luck.

This is going to hurt but you have to remove yourself from this girl's hold on you. You have an obvious problem with self esteem and confidence or you wouldn't allow this to happen to you. Find other things to busy your self with. Get a job, spend more time with relatives, volunteer someplace like a hospital or shelter. Being with others who love and appreciate your goodness will show you how wrong this friendship with her is. If you continue letting her hurt you it will establish a pattern that will become comfortable to you and affect your judgement of others in the future.

It seems that she is unhappy with herself and it makes her feel better to say negative things about other people, it makes her look better (so she thinks). It seems like these new friends she has are probably more important than you in her mind, but one day the tables will be turned on her and those new friends will talk about her like a dog... I guarantee it!

what makes you think she talks about you? and it's okay to for your friend to have other friends but if you feel she's talking about you, confront her. it's better to get it off your back now than waiting and it can lead to something a lot worse. however if she doesn't change her ways then it's time for you to let the friendship go. it will be hard but there's no use holding on to something when the other end has already let go.

You're better off with a friend that isn't going to talk about you behind your back. She isn't a really good friend if that is what she doing.

If she talks behind your back she's not your real friend. If another incident happens pull her aside and tell her how you feel disrespected and be the bigger person

just dont be her friend anymore, so what you've been friends with her for a long time? you can't always forgive and forget. a friend isn't someone who talks behind your back, and they listen to what you've got to say, i can't really explain it, but you'll know someone is your real friend when you see them.
