when i turn on my system all four red lights come straight on and nothing come up on the TV

The red lights indicate there was an issue turning on. You should call Xbox 360 Support at 1-800-4-MY-XBOX. The call is free and they will help you get it sorted out.
It could be something as simple as the video cable came partially unpluged.

when all four lights come on that means that your xbox 360 is broken and cant be repaired unless you send it back to Microsoft. just get a free xbox 360 free of charge

If you look in the manual each pattern of lights means a different issues with the xbox. Call support asap if you have all of them it could be the ring of death.

im pretty sure thats what happens to the ones that are broken. you should call microsoft and ask them.

your cable isn't properly connected. the AV cable, that is.
