A Web Comic?

I am making a webcomic called Eye Force where three eye monsters return to their base after a long time travelling and everybody's gone. One is a crab with one eye, one is a spider with four legs and one eye, and one is some kinda land-octopus with six legs and one eye. I just need some ideas for jokes and/or tips for drawing these characters.

By the way, the comic will have a sort of story about them trying to find eye drops for the crab, but a lot of it will just be random current events jokes.
