Stop spending on things you REALLY don't need. When going to any store and you've filled your basket... stop right before you go to pay and go through everything in your basket and start taking things out... be truthful with yourself and ask... do I really need this item? If not... 86 it right away.

Start using some kind of "Home Budget" software... Quicken or your online Banking website.

Make a list of what your out goings are, then decide what is essential, what is 'lesuire' and what is 'wastage'.
It should help you to narrow down how you spend your money.
