This happened awhile back, when I worked with this guy, named Charlie. Charlie was rarely ever serious, but he came in one day, totally spooked. He said that he suddenly had woken up at 3am, and felt a strong urge to go to the window.

He studied the dark, moonless sky for a moment before spotting something very bright. Brighter than any star or planet. He felt compelled to watch it, it seemed to be hovering, still. He shrugged it off, but couldn't take his eyes away from it. Finally, he relented and said aloud, "If you're really a UFO, then prove it, move in the shape of a square. The bright light suddenly moved across the sky, then down, over once more, then back up, all at lightning speed. He was amazed. Suddenly, he felt a cold hand touch his shoulder. He jumped, and turned to face his wife. She asked him why he hadn't come back to bed in over 30 mins. He simply pointed out the window. "See that light," he commented. "It does what I tell it to do. Move in a square." He traced the square with his finger, and the bright star followed with lightning fast speed. His wife was totally amazed. He told me that the weirdest part was that compelling need that drove him to the window. This is all a true story, btw.

I have had more experiences, personally. I was sitting in our living room one night, doing homework, when suddenly I heard someone call out my name. I was home alone, and just figured that my mom must had forgotten something when she left. I opened the front door to be greeted by an empty drive way.

Other times include, working midnights at a television station. I saw this shadowy figure out of the corner of my eye, hovering near the doorway. I spoke to my coworkers, only to discover that they had seen the same thing before. On the same shift, I was surfing the net. (was a boring shift) All of a sudden, heavy footsteps hit the metal grate on the other side of the cabinet from me. I first thought it was my boss, but nope, I was all alone. Then, I had something swish past me from behind, as it did so, it laughed, echoing through the room. It wasn't any coworkers trying to scare me, I was all alone, the doors all locked down.

The night one of my coworkers was doing an overnight shift, he heard a loud bang come from outside. Once again, nothing was found or explained.

Walking home from Trick-or-Treating on a windy Halloween night and you're all alone is kinda creepy.

The Grudge is my favorite movie in the whole wide world if that helps =)
